Bonfield recognized by Royal Academy of Engineering

Professor William Bonfield in the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy has been awarded the Prince Phillip medal by the Royal Academy of Engineering for his pioneering work in the development and use of artificial bone. The award recognizes his work to produce synthetic bone material for joint replacement and other medical applications. Congratulations uncle Bill!
